Falling by Jamiroquai was one I listened to a lot prior to confessing my feelings to him.

Currently, I can't really think of a song that perfectly describes us. I listen to a lot of love songs when I'm in one of those moods, but one that really DESCRIBES us? I'm not sure. It's hard to say, cause a lot of songs I know are really mushy and romantic and we're not really. We really care for each other, but not like mush and gush "I'm going to throw up" type stuff. (Watch the Hearts-and-Hooves episode of MLP if you need an example of what we're NOT) I'll keep looking and if I find a good song to represent Werd and I, I'll post it.

But earlier when I said River Song, I wasn't exactly kidding. When we were initially showing some interest in each other, we pretty much goofed around acting like The Doctor and River constantly. So these two are really the best I have when it comes to comparing us to something.
