Thread: Things that you hate that everyone else loves

Hot Topic, Call of Duty games (ALL OF THEM I have never played one that I liked), Summer Time, Chocolate Cake, Legend of Korra and Harry Potter

Ramen noodles. That is the very reason why I would rather do the more time-consuming thing of learning how to cook REAL food.

My sister hates them even more. She always liked saying that she was allergic to them (she actually isn't, but they do give her stomachaches.)

the thought of pokemon becoming a more mature anime with the bw2 trailer. And almost every toyota Especially the AE86 corrolla

Chocolate. It feels like I am one of the few people who hate it. Sure, I can eat it if it's completely overpowered by peanut butter, but chocolate itself... blegh. Too bitter.

Also; mint. Hate that stuff.

Degrassi. It is insulting to teenagers on many levels. It exalts teen pregnancy - none of the characters look at the issues that young mothers face. It seems like nearly half of the girls get pregnant. All the major female characters are goody two-shoes; there are virtually no female antagonists (strange for a high school show). Believe me, bitchy girls use more than just rumours to bully others. And the guys are just so rude to each other without even being considered bullies.

All the older teachers on the show are mean, while all the young teachers are cool. Right now, my favourite teacher is a woman who is almost as old as my mum (who is 48).

What I hate most is that sick twisted f*** Peter. Dare I say, he is a walking stereotype. He's a stoner, an elitist, and a popular jerk. And his mother is the f***ing principal - IRL the principal wouldn't let their snot-nosed brat go to the school they are in charge of. And he's a rich blond WASP who tortures poor dark-haired people. Despite being an olive-skinned Arab, I know that bad people come in all colours. One of my best friends is blond (and Italian - contrary to what the media says, blond Italians do exist), and the kid who bullied him the most was a dark-haired guy of Irish background. (Teen movies are guilty of this - even good ones like the original Karate Kid are.)

The only thing I give the show credit for is having somewhat realistic gay characters (i.e. they're not effeminate guys who act like Madonna).

I seriously hate:

crude humor: Their so filthy and inappropriate that I insantly get upset and/or annoyed whenever I'm exposed to them.
shooters: I never really liked them in the first place, and the fact that they are extremely popular just turns me off.
dirty comedies: Mostly because they tend to feature crude humor.
rap music: Simply put, I find them annoying.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this post, but I can't stand any of what I listed.

- First Person Shooters: Why people love these so much is confusing. It's hard to do anything and all you do is kill stuff.

- Rap: Too much swearing, slang, bad English, sex references, drugs, and hating. Also, it is monotonous, like if you talk while rhyming. Songs need tone.

- Crude Humor: This stuff is... just dreadful.

- Wrestling: Why do so many people like watching two almost-naked people with annoyingly giant muscles beat the crap out of each other? Blech.

- Hating on Gays: No. Too many people just blurt out stuff that insults gays. Why do people think it's fine to yell, "you're/that's so gay" as an insult?

- Swearing: Overall, people overuse swearing. I know too many people that swear in every sentence they can.

- Fighting over who's opinion/religion is "right": No one's opinion/religion is right. There's nothing to prove what is or isn't correct.

- New Stuff: This is fine, I agree, but what isn't is the fact that people throw away and never use again that which isn't entirely new. "OMG, a Wii U! Let's forget all about the Wii!" "OMG, an Ipad 4! Let's forget all about the Windows 7!""OMG, a Pokémon Black 2! Let's forget all about Silver!"

- Online Dating: Just a bad idea altogether. Tons of people lie about who they are on online dating, and you don't even meet the person face to face. It's just asking to be hit with a virus, get your identity stolen, or even raped.

- Celebrities: It's not that I don't like celebrities, I don't like how people treat them. Thousands of people think they love celebrities, and roughly the same number think they hate celebrities. People want to know every single insignificant thing about celebrities from the length they cut their hair, to when they go to the bathroom, to what they ate last Thursday, and everything in between. Then, once celebrities reach of age, they are completely forgotten, thrown away, and replaced with someone new. Celebrities are humans, too, so why do people treat them like Sims?

- Country/Western/Cowboy/etc.: Erm, this... just doesn't appeal to me, sorry.

Anime. There's a few series that I'm somewhat interested in watching, but most of it I'm quite averse to.

I"m sure they are mentioned, but I really dislike them,

• Dogs, I just can't stand them. Seem to bark a lot, many times at nothing - my grandma has a chihuahua, that little creature seems to bark at nothing at all. I prefer cats and mustelids.

• Hip-Hop sounds, its not music just sounds, don't get why anyone likes them, the sounds are too repetative and boring

• New Styles, anything that is popular I really hate. Someone trying to be like others to just fit in, I rather just be the "weird kid" in trying to get from one place to another. I wear whatever I"m comfortable in

• That boring show (feel embarrassed just typing the name down) "My Little Pony", I seen a few episodes just to see why everyone even likes it. I couldn't stand it for long

• Coffee, just because Starbucks was started in Seattle, where I live, doesn't mean I'm a coffee drinker. Someone invites me one, I will politely decline it.
