Huntail and Gorebyss can come back when they know spore.

Smeargle can come back when it can successfully use its own Shell Smash Boosts, as well as take a hit.

Smeargle can do neither, fyi. But it has spore, which allows it so safely baton pass to Nidoking without Nidoking having to be afraid of dying to an opposing hit.
