Every single one of my shinies Ive worked for, some have taken a super long time like my Mesprit, took over a year of off an on resetting to get.I would take long breaks when I got tired, but I kept at it.

But everyone criticized me for my ideas regarding fixing the metagame, so I assume everyone hates competitive battles.

I wouldn't know about shinies, but I both IV bred and RNG'd good IV'd pokémon, and since both take trouble I'd have to say both are just as statifactory. Wouldn't know if shinies are different, as every shiny I've gotten so far was just by chance or GTS trades, I didn't really have to do much trouble for that.

RNG just makes it so shinies have usable IVs and nature for battling, if you dont RNG, thats left completely to chance. I honestly dont really pay attention to natures since I dont battle, so all of my shinies pretty much have awful natures for use in battle even if I wanted to. I just collect shinis to collect really.

But they tend to destroy the idea itself because they know better than I do, so I must listen to them and use their ideas instead.

No, you don't. If someone disagrees with you it doesn't nessesarily make them right. It just means they disagree and think differently. You aren't forced to accept anyone else's idea.

You shouldnt change for other people, thats the wrong way to get people to like you. I've made that mistake and it didn't work for me, thats all I'll say.

But have you seen the behavior of the internet users outside of this place? They have bitter personalities and eat newcomers alive if they're different. 4chan, Youtube, and GameFAQs are a few examples.

Guys, I came up with a new mafia game idea. But I don't know if I should tell anyone in case I don't succeed in actually making it (like usual). Though I kinda want to tell someone. Such a dilemma. What do?
