It's actually $¥ who changed it. Meaning he probably indeed got banned for that. It looks like he might just be following the ways of the Aiko; having the top amount of posts in the conversational thread but getting banned more and more often.

I just got a question. To those who have a Facebook, is your news feed blank? Because mine is and I'm wondering if it's the same for others.

So what was so terrible about his name? Just the overkill of symbols? Because both Saturn Yoshi and Unmentionable McQueen had/s symbols in there names.

I think how He only had symbols in his name was the main issue. It was also caused by the Slashed out names too.
