my dad got my little brother a 3ds, then i got one and i played super mario bros, mario kart and pokemon on it, got back into the thing with black and was like "hey let's try generation 4/platinum" cause the soulsilver copy was about 30 bucks more than i was willing to spend

Soulsilver is the shit. Pokeathlon is the most time consuming high score challenge in the history of video games, let alone Pokemon. The way it builds things up for you is amazing. Here's your stats case, nothing special. What are those crown things? No explanation. Oh, trophies for doing certain stuff, and completing tasks. I dig, but what is that crown for getting 1 Pokemon as a champion of all events? No explanation. More trophies, sweet, but THE GOD DAMN CROWNS WHAT ARE THEY. Nada! Oh, yeah, here's the champions room, look at your statue! Crowns are point based challenges that all mass together in a point system for personal gloating reasons, along with the trophies. *dies*
I have over 200 hours clocked in the games ticker just for that bloody thing. GF if you are listening, get your shit together and give us another Pokeathlon.

True but I have on most of my games 100+ hours. Mostly because I want to complete the dex. That is even without really getting into anything else :d.
