    Yeah, me too.

I actually went to a sex shop once with my friend and her girlfriend. They wanted me to come along, but I kept feeling like I was interrupting something. (Note to those who don't know: Lesbians use a lot of toys.)

I was also just kind of amazed by the sheer variety of different things that were created purely for self-pleasure. (Or at least, mutual self-pleasuring?)
That sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out sometime. For science of course.

Ugh it's so stupid how easily so many girls fall for shaming about their sexuality.

The nice thing about a bisexual girl is pretty much any girls I'm likely to be with have to have already questioned most of that shit, because otherwise they probably wouldn't have been able to realize they were lesbian or bi in the first place.
I'm a Christian. I have yet to meet a Christian who doesn't self abuse. I believe it's something everybody does.

Maybe we should call this "self esteem" rather than "self harm"?

Still something that's going to fly over most people's heads, but sends the message that it's a good thing.

Oh, of course. I mean, I'm a pastor's kid, and my dad (the pastor) is well aware that I do it. (When I was a teenager I think I had one of those "do guys really like this?" conversations with him or something. I'm weird.) I'm not religious, but I'm well-aware that Christians are not all prudes. It's more that girls of all religious persuasions are more likely to internalize toxic messages about their sexuality and shame; it's not like you have to go to church to hear that it's "weird" for girls to like sex.

Damn right it's a good thing. Pleasureable, enjoyable, good ol' time.

My favorite female euphemism is "tiptoe through the two lips." That doesn't really work at all for males though. "Winding Big Ben" was one that I invented. It's not that good, but better than a lot of the other ones that I saw on that list (such as "raising the dead").

Self abuse is more ambiguous. The more ambiguous it is, the less kids would catch wind of what we're talking about.

Choking the chicken, slapping the salami, pulling the pope, bashing the bishop, strangling the one eyed snake.

I doubt little kids are going to make the connection between this activity and "self esteem." That's part of why I suggested it; "self-loving" or "self-pleasure" are much better known euphemisms.

I think the ambiguous ship has long sailed on this conversation.

I get the feeling that I should be glad I have no idea what you're all discussing right now.

Regarding the whole "being in to Pokémon" thing. I am watching the entire series again. Mostly because it's still a fun show to just watch and enjoy. And I'm also playing Pokémon White when on the toilet. And I'm also reading Pokémon Adventures Manga (on rare occasions) because I just discovered it and it's wildly different. It's intriguing to say the least. xD Still, I'm not that fanatic about Pokémon anymore. Just hit a Pokémon period recently, you know? One time it's stargate, then Inheritance Cycle, then Legend of Zelda. Ya know?

And that's how I knew you're not old.

Actually I usually just assume that someone is young until proven otherwise. It's a lot safer that way.
