I like to draw, but I never feel motivated enough to take it past a rough sketch.

Usually when I draw it's to make a hand drawn card. So basically what I do is start with a rough sketch on normal computer paper, then clean it up, then go over the outline in pen, then trace it onto higher quality paper, then go over it in pen again, then color it in. The ladies love hand drawn cards. Fortunately I didn't have to do one this year, they take like a full afternoon to make.

I only have one rubber/eraser, and it's really flimsy. I should really buy a new one, along with some new pencils, but I can never be bothered.

Political. It's for a fictional continent for some sort of fantasy project - maybe a novel series, maybe a film series... hell, maybe an MMO or something. I haven't really decided yet; I'm basically setting up the background at this point. I've already written up an extensive timeline of the area's history.

I'd love to share them but right now I don't really have an efficient way of sharing them. I'm going to try vectorizing them sometime soon which, uh, will probably look better than some hand-drawn maps with messy coloring so I could keep track of the borders. Granted, that'll take some time since I drew 7 maps - one for each of the story's major eras.

Maps for a fictional universe? That sounds really cool. There's a lot you could do with that sort of thing, like movies, books heck somethings like that have even been used for Mafia games here.

So today's Nintendo Direct didn't really show anything exciting. Maybe they're saving the best stuff for E3.
