I think the "American comedy show" part explains why I haven't watched it. xP Merlin, Sherlock and Dr Who are all British drama, so ... :P I've honestly never heard of that though, odd.

Well, I suppose I'll give it a look then, if it's popular. :3 What's a Community college though? ^^;;

You can start at a Community college and transfer to a 4 year college/university here as well. It costs less money that way.
Basically this. They are very cheap and they accept anyone who lives in the area. Due to this, several different types of people can go there, which contributes to the diversity of the Study Group. You have people who slacked off in school and didn't get into a real university (Troy, Brita), people who can't afford a real university (Annie, Abed), people who are planning to transfer credits to a real university (Annie), adults who are trying to learn a new skill part time (Shirley), old people who have nothing better to do (Pierce), and Jeff Winger.
Endermen can't go through doors stupid, it's not ghosts or fire.

Ah, thanks for explaining that. I think our "college" is basically the same thing over here, actually, though I think it might be just a little different. I know a lot about our universities but not that much about colleges.

Hmm, sounds like something we have in Norway as well. Most people just use it for a year off though, it's usually not directed at actual studies, but more like ... not studies, I guess. Many people go there to get some experiences, like hiking, sports (especially skiing is a popular one) and other things.
Or you could serve in the army like me. Get all the fresh air you could dream about, all day long.
Today was a pretty good day. Mostly because yesterday was a shitty day. And of course, free pizza.
Also, @TheMissingno.; we should totally write each others blog next week when we've passed 4 years.

College for us is basically uni for you, except the differences for us are that a college is basically one school located in one spot. A university is normally bigger, better financed, and can have multiple satellite campuses. It's really just a difference in how the institute is run.
A community college is basically a cheaper uni and most are only for 2 years instead of 4 or more, or you can take random classes to eventually work towards getting a degree. You don't have to be fully committed all at once like at uni.
You can go to school part time at both community colleges and universities.
