Still talking about Zelda are we? I've never played one and I really don't care to. I'm not much of a Nintendo fanboy anyway.

Yeah, I was basically screwed in getting the entire Pokedex since all my friends had Sapphire or Ruby on their fancy Game Boy Advances. The third generation had just come out when I got my first Pokemon games (Silver, Gold, and Yellow).
I've always been a bit behind the pack when it comes to video games. xD

When I was little the original smash bros and Pokemon Colosseum where like my drug. Aaaah good times

Well Shadow of the Colossus looks like it's entertaining. Heavy Rain looks almost like real people.
Well, at least you don't own a cod game like I do *facepalm* I was so naive back then it was sad. Now I play games like Dishonored so I've gotten better, but nothing beats the classics.Am I right?

Well, about that...
I'm kidding, good older games are fantastic. They have a sense of creativity to them, like both the player and the developer have to use their imaginations a little bit. But I'm a person who craves depth and immersion, and more recent, more technologically advanced games can accomplish that better than the old side-scrolling platformer or 2-dimensional RPG. Video games are supposed to create a fantasy, and whether or not you want to immerse yourself in it or let the game pull you in is just a personal preference. I don't even know which I prefer.

Good Point's
without technology we would have never gotten games like cod or Bulletstorm. So people like me should stop being stuck in the past and move foreword like the rest of the world is doing and stop saying classics are better, and just say "I'M A GAMER AND I AM PROUD OF IT!! Or at least be open to the world
what the hell am I saying

Beats me.
Yeah, better technology leads to excess and embellishment, but in the hands of great artists, it can make a great idea for a game that much better. If we didn't have the technology to make Call of Duty or MadWorld or whatever, we wouldn't have the technology to make Shadow of the Colossus or Batman: Arkham City, either.
