I'm kind of like that myself. People always say how quiet I am, I can't always think of what to say so I usually don't say much.

It would explain why I'm on forum sites. It's where I actually get to socialize. I've always wanted to be able to go to a neighbor's house, but all of my neighbors are like 95876 years old.

I'm like that too, my neighbours are either really young or pensioners. No one to hang out with. But at least you're on here, I like your company, I like a lot of people on here :)

I have a few neighbours my age, but all of them would be depicted as what you might call "hipsters", or typical teenagers, so we've never really gotten on well. I'm actually pretty social in real life, but I tend to stick to my group of friends while being shy around others.

Exactly the same case here. I can be excited and hyper around people I hold close to me, yet shy and awkward around people I don't know well.
