Most of my shoes are various different types of converse, so I don't buy any other's often, unless I need new school shoes or Winter boots, etc etc.

I have a pair of shoes somewhat like Converses other than that, I have a pair of fleece lined boots for winter that's really the only two pairs of shoes I wear on a constant basis. I ought to get a pair of sandals for summer but that's about all the shoes I currently need.

I have five different converse, one pair with a Union Flag design, one pair with a rose design, one pair with a gothic design, one sea-blue pair, and one pair that's meant to look like a Pokeball. Then I have my black pumps for school, black boots for Winter, black lace-up boots with spikes on them, and Union Flag flip-flops for Summer. I also have two pairs of white running shoes. c:

I'm not into fashion either, but my mother and sister are, so they buy me as much as they possibly can. Eh, I hardly ever wear half the stuff they buy for me anyway.

Haha, I'm like Aquanova. XD I have 1 pair of crocs (is that what they're called?), running shoes, and these black sandals that I only wear when I have a school band concert, since we're required to wear black for those.

So yeah, 3 pairs of shoes, one of them I barely wear at all. XD

Vegetarians are depressed because they're the only ones who understand the cruelty going on here.

First of all, not all land can be used to produce corn/whatever. They can however be used for grazing etc. To say that that energy could have been used otherwise is not entirely correct. (of course if you prop up a cow on corn, then I would agree, and that is the case a lot of times). Besides, animals gives us more than meat.

Moreover, I don't really think that vegetarians can claim any moral highground regarding that "we don't eat carcasses" thing. You eat organic material, things that lived as well, I don't see how it really makes a difference between a plant and a pig. Besides, who said eating animals are immoral? Giving them poor living conditions, stuffing them together in tight spots, sure, but eating them? I really don't see the problem.

To cut it short, it's not as black and white as what you're trying to make it. I have no problem with vegetarians or the like at all, and quite a few people could very well cut heavily on the meat, but that doesn't make everything else right.

On a completely different note, got my new laptop. Wooh!
Cool. I was just referring to the amount of grain that could be consumed by humans instead of animals. Yes, of course you can argue that eating plants as just as bad as slaughtering a pig. We eat things that don't feel fear and pain when they're killed. It's entirely different than eating things with as much consciousness and emotion as humans, with only the barrier of language and intelligence.

I have one pair of shoes I actually wear and I think two more. I don't care about fashion really.

Edit: ^ plants might have emotions, we just don't know how to recognise emotions from plant life.

    Shoes are cool.
It would be pretty sad if something evolved to have emotions, but was unable to escape. The point of fear and pain is to make that creature escape what's hurting or endangering it.

My point is that you kill life anyways. Just because you want to differentiate between animals and plants doesn't make it any more right. Moreover, eating meat is pretty natural, and occurs everywhere in nature. I don't see how humans shouldn't be included in that, even though a lot of people like to pretend we're above animals just because we dress up.

On a completely different note, I got a sms from ... the Norwegian Army, wanting to know what I felt was worth defending our country for. Oh well, at least they're trying to get with the times. I'm still waiting to be called in for repetition drills, but the longer I have to wait, the better.

Plants don't have lives or family or emotions. Animals eat other animals because they need to to survive. Humans kill for pleasure.

Please, you know as well as I do that's not true.

As for the other, are you trying to imply that plants don't have lives? Are you actually being serious?
