Cloning is indeed weird, it's kinda ... inhuman, really. Maybe someone who's lost a twin?
I think it would be strange to have a copy of me with a most likely different personality.

Like say you're clone was a jerk and people thought it was you, it would cause some problems lol.
I'd clone myself at least once, so I would have a double I could send to work for me when I wouldn't wanna go.

I dont think they will ever clone people.
The day cloning becomes legal or they finally work out how to do it on humans is the day humanity needs to take a nice long nap.
I don't think they'll need to ever clone people for practical purposes, because of ethical issues and by the time we've perfected cloning we'll most likely have robots/nanobots to substitute. Because robots.
I wouldn't mind having a clone. Imagine the team synergy.
