*points to post count*
I dont need to try and get it up.
Not anymore. Back when I modded on a wrestling board, I was proud of my 14k something count. Forum got hacked by supposedly a rival, database nearly wiped clean and had to start over. I very nearly cried. Second hack, I lost about 4000 posts. I nearly cried again.
Then I told myself I would never care for it any longer. Hence, the reason I don't post often anymore.
Nope. I don't even know what my post count is, haha. It means nothing to me.
Meh, not really. Though I do hope to achieve at least 1,000 posts before the anniversary of my join date.
Well, sorta. I used to celebrate every 100 'till 500, celebrated 1000, and now I don't care.
Nope.
It just happens.
Hell yeah it happens. You're like the top poster here, and in only a year.
As to mine again, I'm still surprised that I'm at 300 already. It's all because of that damn "New Legendaries" thread - I'm like the third top poster in that thread, with almost 100 posts. (*edit2* Fourth, actually, with 93.)
And I don't participate heavily in any of the conversational threads, so that doesn't push it up any.
*edit* That being said, post count +1 FTW ^_^
*edit3* Just a comment that I feel like I need to express.
I feel like I'm being unfairly active on the forums. I haven't been here for any more than two and a half weeks, and already I feel like I'm participating like I've been an active member for months or years. (Except for levels of naivete. That is something I need to work on.) It's almost as if I'm starting to get a little too familiar, and I'm afraid that I'll start creeping people out.
I like to see certain numbers, but it's not something I try for.
Well maybe not ADDICTED, but I'd like to get it high. I'd also like to raise my average post count. I'm not a spammer. Like this guy. ------>:spam:
>Update: I plan on getting to 999 posts before my one year anniversary. For my 1,000th post I'll probably make a thread somewhere. I also don't usually start new threads. I add my two cents to existing ones. Most of the time I look on new posts. I rarely look at the individual sections.
Everyone in this thread is just bumping their post count....
forums are a way of procrastination and post counts rise dramatically when there is work to be done.
and how does $aturn Yoshi have any posts when his location is WOW?....surely he'd spend all his life on there?
I know how to manage my time accordingly.
At the moment I am, because I need 15 so I can start sending PM's! And 10 for an album, although I think I have that many now. Yay! Anyway, I need posts.
No (well, I'm sure that's obvious, judged by my post count). Like others mentioned, I just try to make good posts, that will hopefully contribute to the discussion (though it appears I fail T.T). However, one thing I do want to try to gain is respect.
