I joined because it looked kinda interesting and I knew Bulbapedia was well run. Then, I was hooked. I didn't lurk at all actually. The first time I came across Bulbagarden Forums I joined.

July 12, 2008. Bulbagarden was amuch better way to communicate with fellow fans instead of waiting for replies on my old website. (Which closed soon anyways.) Bulbagarden has given me everything I need to begin writing fanfics and doing art. Thanks guys! ^_^
November 18, 2008. Oddly enough that’s also Mickey Mouse’s 80th Birthday.

Yeah, I lurked a little while too, actually. :P I think I lurked for like two or three months before I finally decided I wanted to join. I initially joined to RP but then I started to post in all the other forums as well.

Well, I was on Bulbapedia before that, I'd say I joined Bulbapedia in May 2008. But I got all bored/annoyed with Bulbapedia, so I havent been there in a while D:

I found this site when I was at Bulbapedia. I wasn't planning to be active here at all but when lurking around I decided to post more and make more friends
I joined on August 3, 2007. I was searching google about Shiny Pokemon, and one of the links lead to the "Shiny Pokemon with the Pokeradar" thread. When I saw the method and tried it out with sucess, I joined to thank the people who developed the method, but then moved on to the other sections of the site.
I used Bulbapedia for a long time, without realizing it was connected to Bulbagarden forums. Then I heard rumours about this place being badly run, so I didn't join, but after some lurking I decided to join.
I joined in the middle of May I think, but didn't activate my account until late June.
I joined November 10, 2007.
Man, that's a long time....
April 27, 2009. I was bored, and I just joined for no reason. I decided to actually be active here cuz I made lots of new friends and didn't want to abandon them, and found out this place is really fun.
May 2nd, 2005.
Would've joined sooner, but eh... I liked Serebii better at the time.
