Thread: What's your favorite word?

Mine is 'malevolent'. It just sounds awesome.

"Natural". For obvious reasons.

And I guess "awesome" since I say it a lot.

I'm a fan of the words "euphoric", "zephyr", "crystalline" and "mahogany".

Don't ask me why, because I have no idea.

"Defenestration."

The act of throwing someone or something out of a window. Making it sound more upper-class.

Deplorable

Melancholy.

Discombobulated.

Quark.

"Maniacal" - because most people I know have no idea what it means. I get happy when I hear people using it correctly in a sentence.
Oh and "Antidisestablishmentarianism" - because I'm the only one in my Psychology class who remembers that word... and it's just an awesome word to know.

Automaton.

"Satisfaction" and "Adorable".

Bird.

Requiem, Catalyst, and melancholy.
But, my all time favorite is BAWS. Because it describes me in a nutshell.

Pickle.

Definitely Antidisestablishmentarianism. When I looked it up in the dictionary a few years back, I couldn't help falling in love with it. Also, Anomaly is another one of my favorite words (and it's in my username :D), along with echelon.
