Thread: What Famous People Have You Met?

So, what famous people have you met?

I have met:

• Barbara Windsor {famous actor, most known on comedy films, plus in Eastenders}
• Ringo Starr {c'mon, you know who it is}
• {One of the drummers on Status Quo. Name escapes me at the moment.}

Jan de Hoop and André Kuipers.

And if you don't know those are, you're not from the Netherlands. Jan de Hoop is a Dutch newsreader, and André Kuipers was the first Dutch astronaut.

Christopher Paolini (Author of the Eargon series). I have a signed copy of Eldest.

I've had the pleasure of meeting these AWESOME people who have worked (or currently work) on Pokemon:

Very nice people, all of them are. And I've gotta say, meeting these voice actors was the most exciting time I've ever had at an anime convention. ^_^

Had a great convo with Bill Timoney after a performance of "And Then There Were None" my dad did with him at a university nearby a while back. Told him straight up I didn't like the English dub of Gravitation (which he directed). 8D The above are all friends of some sort to my dad and I've met them on a few occasions. :3 Interesting people to say the least. Also interesting to know they're all east-coasters. xD There's more people, but I don't remember all the names. :P My dad's an actor on the side soooo yeah.

I was so close to meeting Fall Out Boy (the band) at a concert, but they left at the last minute.

Julia Butterfly Hill read me The Lorax when I was four. =D



She lived in a California Redwood tree for 738 days to keep loggers from the Pacific Lumber Company from cutting it down.

I was so close to getting a picture with Christopher Walken.

Robert Pattinson nabbed my Starbucks last year. True story, I was so disappointed. I was just going to get it, and then he took it, and then it took me a little while to realize that yes, that was my drink and yes, that was the guy who stole it. I've tried looking around town for him but he's usually not here. Shame.

Met a lot of athletes when ther Olympics were around. Miss them.

And the boys from Supernatural are always filming somewhere in my general vicinity, so I've met them a couple of times. They're SO gorgeous, it's incredible. And new episode tonight wooohoo!

And Mickey Mouse. On several occasions. OH YES.
