Marie-Mai, Jean-François Harrison, Wilfred LeBouthillier, Marie-Hélène Thibert, Marie-Loup Wolfe, Stéphane Bélavance.
I'd be surprised if any of you knew about them. They're pretty much only known in the Québec province.
I never actually saw him, but President Obama was at the same airport as I was. He caused our flight to be late.
I met Mark Wood, founder of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, back in February. He helps to organize String Night in our school district, a giant rock concert with the middle school and high school orchestras, and he plays electric violin during the concerts. My sister's in the middle school orchestra and he was staying afterwards for pictures and autographs, so I got to meet him then. He's a cool guy, and I've always admired the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's music, so it was an awesome experience.
I got a high-five from Adam Sandler. :D
I got hugged by Steve Blum, the voice of Starscream from Transformers: Prime. (He is quite awesome.)
I've seen Harrison Ford in person at a restaurant where I live, but I was too polite to approach him. Apparently he stops by in the middle of flying cross-country - the staff tries to keep him on the down-low whenever he's in. A friend working there pointed him out to me as he was leaving.
Myself, I got to meet Drew Carey a few years ago while I was vacationing to California. He's a pretty swell guy, I even have his autograph somewhere around this mess of a house. I also got to meet Val Kilmer and Jim Carrey, back when they were at a local mall advertising for their new movie, Batman Forever. Val Kilmer was a bit of a douche, but Jim Carrey was amazing. He has (or had, maybe) a soft spot for kids and was really able to engage with them. Might be his childish nature in the movies he did at the time.
Outside of that, I haven't met anyone nationally famous. Just local celebrities like news anchors and business moguls (Tom Golisano being the most well known local businessman).
Now I'm the one jealous with rage. I absolutely adore Jim Carrey.
Tristan MacAvery: He voiced Gendo in NGE. I had dinner with him. It's just crazy how I was just invited along. Right place at the right time. I still have the pics someplace I took while at the dinner. Sad how those are the only ones I still have, as the rest were lost to a computer crash.
Joshua Seth: He voiced Tai in the Digimon Adventure/Adventure 02 dubs. I was also apart of his hypnotist show. Me like a dummy volunteered. I also managed to get his autograph and still have it someplace.
Rie Fu: I met her in NY back in 2009. She autographed one of my CDs and took a pic with me, and I still have those. Hm, anyway, some may know of her music through Bleach. She did the first ending theme song, Life is like a boat.
My fencing coach coached Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook.).
Both members of They Might Be Giants, the Stomp Out Loud ensemble, Eats Tapes, and Yau-Man Chan.
I once came quite close to meeting Dental Work. If I'd wised up...
Hmm, I can't seem to recall... I feel like I've met some people, but I probably haven't.
I have gone to a couple Tampa Bay Rays games. That's about it for me. :P
My dad, however, used to be friends with the bassist of Bob Sieger's Silver Bullet Band, and eventually got to meet Bob and the others. He's also beaten Kid Rock at golf, and played a game of baseball with the Doobie Brothers at a charity event.
And yet I've met nobody... though now I think I remember my dad telling me that he brought me to a golf game with that Silver Bullet Band bassist when I was a baby. And I passed by the neighborhood where Jerry Springer lives not too long ago (blegh).
EDIT: I remember now! I went to a Blue Man Group concert for my 14th birthday at Universal Orlando. One of the Blue Men threw a marshmallow at me. Later on in the concert, my brother got chosen to go up on stage with them (the lucky buzzard).
Never met one. But I have seen Maynard Keenan from a distance once.
One of my friends met all three of the Harry Potter kids at the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 premier. :I
The wrestler known as The Miz, was after I saw Raw in Boston too :3
