Thread: Needles.

I used to be super afraid of needles as a child, but over time, the initial shock and fear wore off and now I enjoy them. It's like candy to me and I can't wait for my next shots lol.

I'm not scared of them, but they're sore.

I've been scared of needles since I was a toddler. When I got my 2 year shots, I was screaming and crying REALLY loud, and my mom had to hold me while the nurses vaccinated me. But I was calm when I got my meningitis shot when I turned 11 last year.

Geez, watch the language in the poll options.

But yeah, I pretty much loathe needles. Lucky thing I'm not allowed to give blood.

Used to be deathly afraid, but now I don't mind them as much.

I am so afraid of them. The sensation of something going into my veins... it's just the worst.
I don't have my ears pierced because it freaks me out.
And flu shots... I have to get one when I travel to Japan. I am absolutely dreading it...

Yep still deathly afraid and I'm almost 19. Lol I asked for a lolly last time I was forced to get my flu jab and I got one. I'm pretty sure I've given nurses hell over the years :p

Yeah when I was 4 I remember running around the place screaming my head off to avoid a blood test. The poster on the wall at the time scared me too, it was of a kid in an armchair smiling at a doctor as it was about to get jabbed.

You're like my twin... from New Zealand.
When I was in 9th grade I had to get shots, I cried. It was... not my greatest moment. And I've avoided shots and needles successfully since then.

I actually like needles. I don't do drugs or anything, I just have some weird feti... I have said to much. It is now time for me to go.

Hah I cried and screamed and before going into the doctors when I was 15, so that's bad, lol. I didn't succeed when I stubbornly resisted going in the actual building, though.

Wow I'm glad someone else thinks the same way I do about needles!
