Thread: Needles.

So, I was just wondering, How many people here are afraid of needles?


I myself am deathly afraid of them. I can't stand even watching someone being poked my one. >.>

I used to be,then I got over it since I had to get alot of blood drawn for testing one year.. but a few years later since my uncle was in the hospital for a brain tumor..after seeing him sneeze and blood go up a tube I became hemophobic --'

Am trying to get rid of being hemophobic though..with mixed results .-.

I really dislike needles, but I can put up with them.

I'm not fond of them, but I don't really have any problems with them either.

Well, When I was sercimsised I had a extra-painful one.

I'm terrified of them! Having bad experiences with them in the past has made me scared to death of them.

I'm not scared of them, I cut my wrists with them everyday... what?

When I was younger I'd watch the needles go into my arm for my immunisations in total carefree awe. O____o Now I need to look away and be distracted every time I have a blood test, but it's not really the needle that bugs me... More the idea of watching it go into my arm and stay there. I'm absolutely fine when I get piercings, though. I found it pretty comical to see the needle still in my nose for a second before the stud was put in when I got that done. xD

Terrified. Just thinking about a sharp metal pointy thing going under your flesh and taking the blood right out of your veins (I'd be a good scary story writer xD)is terrifying.

I don't like seeing other people getting shots, but I am fine with me getting them. (Yeah, it hurts, but I would rather do this than get really sick later.)

I'm not afraid of needles, but I don't especially like them. I don't like looking at them when I get shots, either.

I got tattooed a while back, I noticed I was perfectly relaxed while I was being stabbed with three to four needles at a time. Hence, I'm not afraid of them.
