    Default Lucid Dreaming

    Does anyone do it?
Been trying for the last week and no results.
I've been doing the reality check method.
    I reality check when I go into a room/go out/do anything else.
    Anyone else?

    Post tips and past experiences.

I was good at it when I was little. There was some feaky period back then when I had nightmares very frquently for around a motnh or so.

I kinda subconsciously developed the ability of sensing I was asleep and either altering minor details or outright waking up on the spot. Guess I am predisposed to this stuff.

But I kinda haven't had a ny lucid dreams lately. Maybe because I'm just growing out of it or because I don't need that failsafe anymore.

I once tried the reality check for awhile, but that didn't help at all.
Then when I stopped doing it, I had one. lol

    Well the dream went like:
I realized it was the middle of the night, but it was light and people were walking outside. Realizing how weird this was I must have realized I was dreaming. The next thing I knew I tried to fly, and I started to float in midair, and I could really feel it! I was weightless, going through my livingroom, when the dream shifted and I heard people I knew screaming for me. I quickly went to the basement to find that TR was attacking my family and friends. I somehow got a pokeball out of nowhere, and threw it. (Thoughts of SS interfered. Probably because I was playing it before bed.) After that the dream broke:/
    Waiting to have another one.

What does lucid dreaming mean? Thinking you're still in reality?

Lucid Dreaming is when you have a dream and you control practically everything that happens.

There was a HUGE thread about this on another forum, and people said to eat bananas or peanut butter right before bed. I can't remember which one though. (:

I've never had a lucid dream before. Though with what I've heard from other people, it sounds awesome!

    It's not really that awesome.

But I guess is depends on how good are you at it. While I never had to make "preparations" for a lucid dream and it just tended to happen, nearly half of it went by with me just saying to myself "This is a dream, why don't you wake up now" or something along those lines. If something big was about to happen, I could alter and prevent it. But you can't control what you dream about.

If you are dreaming that someone's chasing you, you could completelly delete that someone from existing inside your dream. But you can't just snap your fingers and teleport to a luxury liner on a world trip with lots of hot chicks around you.

It's altering the details, not total absolute control. If someone can do it, then kudos.

Uh huuuuuuuh. Good luck getting that one to work before reality checks.

In fact, good luck getting that one to work at all.

I have it on very rare occasions. But for me to remember my dream is already uncommon. Remembering it an hour after I'm awake is very rare. I just sleep too vast.

Hmmm, you could use the "What did you dream of last night?" thread as a dream journal and go post your dreams on it as soon as you wake up, lol.

Yeah I remember when I was younger I used to be able to fly in a couple of my dreams back then. I wanna get back into that now, lol
