My first language was actually Farsi (or Persian, if you call it that). Now I hardly know any Farsi, which is too bad, since I cant talk to my gandparents anymore.
Then English, obviously. Now Im learning Spanish, and Im pretty good.

I took French in elementary school and grades 7-8, but now I don't know how to speak it. It was also my least favorite subject to begin with...
I took Japanese in Grade 12 and German I learned on my own, and it just so happens that I found both languages easier to learn than French

I'm actually pretty fluent in pig latin. I can count to 99 in Japanese. I can speak a few phrases of Japanese, but nothing that would be useful outside the Kendojo.
Endermen can't go through doors stupid, it's not ghosts or fire.
Bulgarian and English (2nd language), Russian (3 years in Middle School), I'm learning Dutch this year, couple of phrase in Spanish, Latin and the like...oh and spme Japanease words, too.

I know someone who can speak Africanse... sounds so strange when you hear it first time, but then again he lived most of his life in Africa and knows it well enough.
I forgot I also know hoe to speak some Irish, but where I live, no one really speaks Irish so I have no real use for it, even when I went to the south of Ireland, people spoke English. I guess I'll feel accomplished when I know enough of one of the languages to get by in a country that speaks it. Maybe I'll finish learning french as I learned it for 4 years.

Can't say I understand Finnish when I look at food-products and try to read the contents on Finnish. Still, it's a cool language. If you understand Swedish, it's not that hard to understand Danish and Norwegian too.Originally Posted by Taija
I speak and read English, can read Hebrew (with vowels) but can't speak it for beans, and can read katakana and speak a tiny bit of Japanese.
