    That would be pretty cool, but Jupiter protects us from asteroids and comets so I don't think it would be a good idea to burn it.

    Yeah, pet planets will become the norm. People will argue over whether a gas giant is better than a rocky planet just like they argue over whether cats are better than dogs (even though they obvs are).
