    Grades? Ha, ditched em when I was only in 9th grade, did me well not to worry. Passed from the American education system to an american private school here to the glorious public school system here in Greece. Let me say, going from Unholy levels of easy, to pre World Baccalaureate hard to the 10th secret circle of hell is no fun. You have to go to a frontistirio from 9th grade or else your screwed. What that is is basically paying 2 grand or more a year to go to a mass tutoring place, to learn everything school has to offer. Cause of that, the teachers give fuck all to teach anything, making you have low grades if you base yourself only on the system, and don't do everything by yourself. Combine it with the fact that I went from an A+ Principal lister in the States, to a mediocre C+ student, things were rough. Only this year did I start getting B-s and only because the teachers want me to have a proper Diploma. Oh and did I mention I'm not also sweating myself bout the nation wide exams to go into Uni? Yeah, no culinary colleges either, so community college/Pre-bachelor education is where I'm. Feeling pretty shitty, but what can I do......

    So sorry for the rant.

    No worries, education is like survival of the fittest. Lot more work than I wanted.

    Yeah, you're definitely not the only person suffering from education system XD

    There are problems with the school systems here. And debates about them have been lasting for years. -_-;

    I ran that race up till 7th grade, I know what its like. Even at 13, I had things set up. Graduate 8th grade with a recommendation from the principal, go to a specialized HS for pre-med, and become a doctor. Turns out cooking is actually the real passion of life, who knew.

    In your country as well? Hell what am I asking, all over the world things are going wrong with it. On subject, finally saw the Dead Poet's Society. Doesn't hit close to home, but its a peculiar sense of familiarity with the whole theme, not the twist itself that makes me love it.

    I always wondered what it was like back when universities were free to attend.

    Only a few universities are free to attend here. :<

    Even the universities that government owns have costly tuition.

    It sucks when you still have to pay a lot after graduating school with magna cum laude honors.

    I was able to finish my English final in literally 30 minutes. What the hell, I thought these things were supposed to be hard.

    There's a semester fee of around 300-400 NOK (60-70$) here, it's really nothing at all. The real cost is of course living costs, I pay around 750$ in rent every month and then on top of that comes food.

    But it sure is nice not having to pay to attend the best universities in the country.

    The tuition is around 10,000,000 won here for colleges in general, which is about $8,514.
    It's burdensome when it's difficult to work while studying, and not that much of a time is available during vacations enough to make money to pay for a semester. I've seen students take a temporary leave from school due to tuition which is sad. :/
