Oh ya. But he was suffering. I'm happy he is not suffering anymore.

Why didn't you like Brawl that much, then? Just curious. :D
One thing I loved about the original and Melee was: When you unlocked a character, it actually meant something. You had to play for 8 hours straight to get Mewtwo, or beat all the Target tests for Mr. Game and Watch. Brawl just took away that specialty by unlocking all the characters in the Subspace story mode. I would have preferred it be: You cannot progress in Subspace until you unlock a certain character.

Another thing was the Smash Ball. My friends insisted on keeping Smash Balls on. Then they'd insist on playing on Final Destination, and they'd all be Star Fox characters. Yeah. FUN.
I agree with both. Also Brawl had way too much new characters in their standard roster, while all the hidden characters were old ones. Lucario, Toon Link and Wolf were literally the only unlockable new characters.

Smash ball was fun initially, but eventually I started turning off the smash-ball for matches because that was all the matches became about, get the smashball.
Toon Link was a bad copy of Young Link from Melee.
No he's not, and Toon Link > Young Link.

Isn't Toon Link based off the other Link that Young Link could have been?

Young Link is basically the Link from OoT and Majora's Mask, where as Toon Link is from Wind Waker. Anyway, opinions everywhere, but Young Link is still better than Toon Link in mine.

I had to sign a legal form because I know the official timeline. You shouldn't even know that I told you I signed it.

The thing is, in my opinion, putting Young Link in Melee in the first place was a bad move. He and adult Link are the same person after all in that game, at least Toon Link is an entirely separate Link.

Toon Link > Young Link, in both terms of design, usefulness, and game they come from, imo. I main him and Jigglypuff.

Can Toon Link jump from wall to wall like Young Link can?

In SSB 64, I mainly used Ness and Yoshi.

@Mintaka; I think so, my memory is hazy though.

I like playing as Ness in Brawl a lot.

    Ah I see.

I didn't like Link much, he was too slow and rather heavy. :<

I like Ness' moves. Yes, his jumping style is a bit difficult to control, but I actually liked that.
His moves in Melee are awesome too, I would have loved to play the game to try that. Plus, he isn't a character requiring unlocking there :D

Link is annoying to use, that's why Toon Link is so much better.

I mainly just play as Ness due to how awesome Earthbound is.

And I think we can all guess who I want in SSB4.

King Dedede? Lucas? Zelda? Oh, you mean Jigglypuff. :D

Personally, my favourite character is Kirby, so I'm great with him. I'm not too bad with Ganondorf, Marth and King Dedede either.
