Breathing massive sign of relief right now.

If anyone cares enough about baseball to read my article on the 2012 American League MVP debate that I whipped up in the last 24 hours, please let me know.
So they did let you make something original for them? Awesome!

Not Autostraddle, I'm already a writer there. This is for a position at my university's online news site.

@Lyrebird; I'll PM it to you. Sorry I didn't do it sooner, I was at a bookstore and had to leave because they were closing. Now I'm back home. Offer's still up for anyone else who wants it PM'd, I just don't know if I want it in my blog and therefore probably Google-able while I'm applying.

Also re: Autostraddle, I have to say, it's awesome to be able to put in your resume that you write for a website that is up for a GLAAD Media Award. Really freaking awesome.

Hi, I'm Rose. I love music, alcohol, pointless Internet debates and being a snob about my choices in entertainment. I write a lot. You can read some of my writing at Autostraddle.com, the best site for LBTQ women on the Internet, where I am a staff writer. Or the funhouse that is my tumblr. I also write music sometimes, and post the better fruits of my labors on my SoundCloud.

@Chespin; Yeah, I saw that! It made me so happy.

I think my gay band teacher (in high school) figured out I was bi before me or the rest of the world did, haha. I can kind of look back, and he was dropping some mammoth-sized hints that he knew. But I was so oblivious!

I wish I had figured it out earlier. High School Me had some terrible taste in boys, and there were some very cute lesbian and bi girls at my high school. If only!

I say, just go explore as much music as you can. If its a genre you've never heard, go investigate. I've listened to so much music, whether it be Afro Jazz, Raga Drone, Seggae, Ritual Ambient or just plain ol' Dub Techno. You'll find your musical calling. For me it's house and techno, and it took me years to get to that step.

I was the opposite. I've slowly grown into listening to more metal because I hated it so much when I first started really listening to music. I thought all metal was along the lines of screamo and death metal, which I still don't like. But because my main genre is old rock, metal sometimes overlaps that, such as Ozzy/Black Sabbath, Scorpions, and a few others, so I've slowly started exploring the genre more. (Brutal Legend helped too, but that was the reason I got the game, so) And a bunch of old rock borders on metal sometimes, or I guess it's just hard rock, like Van Halen and whatnot.

    Actually, I never left.
