Do you use the scientific method when you research history?
    That's nice.

Sortof, yes. You know, using different kind of historical sources next to each other. You assume something, you read literature, you create a hypothesis or question, you read more literature to see if it's true, etc. That's basically what I have to do in a paper, come up with a hypothesis and then use literature to reëvaluate your hypothesis (or answer your question to the biggest extent possible).

    edit:

This image actually completely applies to what I have to do. Just exchange "test with experiment" for "do even more background research".

If you make that exchange, then it's no longer the scientific method XD
    That's nice.

I was lying down then my phone vibrated because Shiny Celebi tweeted me. So scared. My bones are outside my body.

Observation is reading stuff. Experimentation is what different authors say about the same thing. Just like how with physics you let the same thing happen multiple times you look at multiple different interpretations of something. You can check for authencity of facts this way.

You just said you have to replace the "experiment" part of the scientific method. Did you change your mind?
    That's nice.

No, you just didn't understand me the first time. Probably because I didn't go into detail enough with what I meant.
