Well if something goes wrong then there are other opportunities. Like if I get dumped then I'm single and I can enjoy single life or find a new guy. If I get fired or retrenched from a job then I can find another job in a likely new industry. If I get injured and I can't play sport then I can learn a new skill at home or read a new book.

Hm. Well, you have the right to attitude to life, shame I can't identify with it one bit. If I got fired I'd spiral into depression, not leaving my bed for days except to eat occasionally. I wouldn't take on any opportunities, instead I beat myself up, carve into myself and hope I die before I wake.

I don't usually leave my bed anyways.

    What is your current situation?
Still having feelings for my ex-girlfriend/best friend. Making her feel like a horrible person for not feeling the same way. Living very far away from her yet still willing to make sacrifices to meet her in real life against all her advice and probably her wishes, too.

So basically, my current situation is being a delusional freak.

Chicks can't resist an emotionally broken weirdo. That's the new shallow ass-crack these days.

I know how that feels. Oh boy do I. We're delusional, or maybe we see where happiness can come from, ad we get bitterly dissapointed and depressed when the worst comes to worst.

And this why I stopped being an optimist.

The optimism, it's starts and ends with her.
