Natural Resources/Conservation with a minor in Forestry, and hopefully another minor in Wildlife Science soon. I have no idea what I want to do, be it teaching or working for the government or a large organization such as the Nature Conservancy, or even Exxon Mobil.

Not to mention the indefinite integral.

I find a good way of messing with non-mathematicians to be exp(iπ). Of course, if actually I could post a proper pi would help as well.

Where do the cartography classes fit into that?

At least you have some vague idea.

5. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

Yeah, at least :/

tbh Machine, I have no idea. I suppose if I wanted to be a land surveyor they would be helpful, but I really don't, and even if I did I would be a Geography major.

Not the calculation part, but more the understanding of it. If you don't have a calculator, it's not really bloody obvious.

Well, for those who have had some math, it is, but nevertheless...

That's cool, I think map making is awesome. I would want to be a map maker if it wasn't kind of an obsolete field.

Yeah if you've learned Euler's thingy.

Which for some reason is pronounced "Oiler's," though it looks like it would be pronounced "Yewlers"

Map making is pretty fun but a bit tedious, and nowadays most people use computers. We've only made one map by hand, the rest of the field data we've collected has been implemented with computerized programs. We still use the good old pacing trick (66 feet to a chain) and compass though.

I loled, I really hope they don't win their lawsuit.

11. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

Hello peoplz! How is everyone?

12. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

I'm okay, how are you?

I was going to grab some vodka to drink tonight, but it turns out I'm going to PF Chang's, so I'll just drink some sake there.

13. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

That sounds very familiar... Is it a chain?

14. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

Yeah, it's a chain of Chinese restaurants that pretends to be classy. They're pretty good.

15. Re: The Bulbagarden Conversational Chat Thread Vol 4

I remember the last time I ate Chinese.

She was a nice girl.
