Thread: Who had the more annoying catchphrase; Iris or Dawn?

I don't really see how Dawn's "no need to worry" was annoying at all.

Now "you're such a kid"... I realize it's supposed to be ironic humor or whatever, but it wasn't even funny the first time. In fact, it was quite annoying the first time. It just makes Iris come across as an insufferable brat.

Iris's catchphrase only works for me when aimed at Trip because it describes him so well IMO. Otherwise, it is just annoying. Yeah, I prefered Dawn's. *hides*

It's too bad Trip wasn't call a "kid" as much as the others. Or was he even called?

Anywho, back in DP Dawn didn't really need to say it all the time like she did because Ash and Brock started to say it and it became unneccessary at times. But over all Iris's is more annoying.

At least Dawn's catchphrase was meant to inspire optimism, while Iris just seems to enjoy sniping at Ash (and a few others).

Yea Id have to say "Your such a kid" can get kinda annoying, but to be fair sometimes its really well played (for example as a direct taunt)

Iris has the most annoying everything. It's only logical that a catchphrase would be one of those things.

What's sad is that people vote you're a kid because they think the catchphrase sucks, people vote no need to worry because they think dawn sucks.

iris' kid one... but i voted i coluld think up a more annoying one!

I never really liked Dawn in the first place, so I never had a problem with her catchphrase, but every time I hear Iris say "You're such a kid", I just feel like punching her in the face.

Dawn's catch phrase was unneccessary at times but that's not why she sucked at times either. It was meant for encouragement but Iris's is demeaning because we already have seen Ash been through quite abit for her to be saying that. Even if Ash sometimes does acts like a fool.

Iris' "Such a kid" catchphrase is more annoying. Dawn is one of my favorite characters and her catchphrase never bothered me. Iris's catchphrase just tears Ash down and is way more irritating.

If anything, the replies to Dawn's catch phrase were more annoying than the catch phrase itself.
