Favorite Best Wishes Gym Battle?

Fuuro and Homika... HANDS DOWN!

I liked the battle with Roxie, even though it was curved in Ash's favor. Though, to be honest, he would've gotten his ass handed to him if he hadn't gone through with the 6 vs. 3, lol. Roxie really did him a favor.

Fuuro. That air dogfight in the end was definitely the highlight of all Gym Battles.

Vs. Cress/Corn.

Pikachu lost w/no damaging help.

That was satisfying.

Now Ash still needs a rematch with Cress, IMO...but have him use Palpitoad while Cress uses Basculin.

VS Kamitsure because it was so hilarious. Pikachu getting progressively angrier in the background while Satoshi stupidly wonders what to do next was awesome.

Cilan vs Skyla. need i say more?
Roxie's battle was a bit wierd. did we REALLy have to constantly strum chords evry other move?

I don't usually do these, but I'm picking Brycen. It has the least BS, at least to me it does, and it shows how far he's progressed up to that point. (which is sadly little) I was tempted to pick the Striaton Trio, but this one earned an extra point for showing progress.

I have to go with Brycen. Scraggy got to battle in a gym, nothing needed to evolve, the battle didn't make Ash look incompetent, he wasn't fighting a weak gym leader and Ash didn't send out something stupid (at least Krokorok had Stone Edge and he had a reason to use him against Beartic).

The others were beyond horrible.

Ash battled Chili twice by the way. The second battle isn't on the poll. There was also Kotetsu versus Marlon.

I'm going to go with his battle against Brycen. All of the victories were believable and didn't involve any cheap evolutions that came out of nowhere. Plus, it did show that Ash was progressing. I don't think it showed enough progression for s a seventh Gym battle, but that's still more than most of his other Gym battles and that match was the most entertaining for me partly because of how believable the victories were.

My favorite would be Roxie's


Cilan, Cress and Chili - IMO was neither good or bad 5/10
Lenora - Was nice that he lost, and the rematch was pretty good 7.5/10
Burgh - Meh, but didn't think it was as awful as most people put it - 4/10
Elesa - I have nothing to say, perhaps, unremarkable - 5/10
Clay - Good, very well animated - 8/10
Skyla - Vey fun, a bit unpredictable - 8/10
Brycen - Ending was a saving grace - 6.5/10
Roxie - Hard and Fun - 9/10

Cameron vs Marlon. Just had to say it.

Anyway, I voted Skyla. Basically, even though a mid-battle evo occured, the rest of the battle was quite nice. Compared to the 5 battles before it, as well as the 3v6 Roxie, it was the best. Maybe the only better one could be vs Brycen, but i really liked vs Skyla more.

EDIT: Plus, the vs Brycen battle had LOTS of similarities with the vs Candice. But i can surely say that the Sinnoh one was better.

I'm giving it to Clay since it didn't make Ash look like fucking chump. The Roxie battle was annoying it didn't make sense how she was that strong and Gym's have enough handicaps already. Also I think Roxie is totally overrated but whatevs

Ash vs Elesa, with Cress coming in at a close second.
