From the deepest underground of the Virbank City was soaking a loud, strange noice to the nearest surroundings. From time to time, passerby elderly people glared to the direction, the music was coming from, disgusted. The entrance of the building was seemingly worn out. The paint on the metal door was falling away, revealing big spots of rust. A few young people – mostly dressed in dark colours were stepping in, exited, in anticipation.
A couple of young trainers were shuffling nervously in front of the entrance. Is this really the local gym? Both of them were too afraid to step into the lair of dangerous-looking rockers. Finally, they took a deep breath and found the courage to enter. As a future pokémon masters, they shouldn’t be afraid of such things as the ramshackle building.
The noise was getting louder and louder. The trainers’ doubts were now so intense, that they were thinking of returning back to the Pokémon centre. Maybe they should ask Nurse Joy for proper directions to the gym. But then one of them suddenly noticed a poster. There, with the giant blood red letters stood: „Today, with our special guest, Sidney from the Hoenn Elite 4! “ The announcement continued with smaller font. „Virbank City gym“.
The faces of two trainers widened in surprise. The gym in a music club? What‘s coming next? Gym placed in a volcano? Reassured, they are coming the right way, they went through an arrow corridor to the club itself. The music was deafening now. The youngsters wondered, how can someone come here and listening to this willingly.
They approached to one of the black-dressed girls there and asked where they´ll find Roxie. The girl smiled and pointed to young woman with white hair nearby. The gym leader has apparently noticed the gesture and came to the challengers. “Sorry boys, challenges only after gig. But you can stay here and enjoy the show if you want,” she smiled mischievously when she saw the looks of both trainers, each one seeming to rather jump out of the cliff than listening to this any minute longer.
“It will be a long night, “ she nodded as she turned to the stage and saw there a middle-aged man with greenish hair, holding her guitar and playing well-known tritone. “It seems we have one more support band this time. I hope, they‘ll play I‘m perfection again.”
