What's to be nervous about with the staff drive? I mean, the worst that can happen is absolutely nothing, right?

Its always worth a try to apply for the staff drive, if you dont get it, you can apply for the next one. If happens once a year. Just make your app the best it can be and show that you are a great user and be helpful to others and you will probably have a chance :)

I don't care for the Staff Drive much anymore because we already have a surplus of staff members.

Being a mod is pretty lame. Feels like you can't have fun anymore and that you should be doing important stuff. I can't really describe it, but there's nothing fun or exciting about it at all. Feels good to be accepted, then a week later you regret it. It's just a horrible process.

Also, I'm sick of not having internet. I'm in the middle of my neighborhood atm hijacking everybody's wifi.

I dont think that's true, you can still have fun, but yeah you do have responsibilities and are looked at as a role model as to how others should act.

I applied again this year, but just to this place this time. I'm not in it for the fun of it... I want to be helpful and actually contribute to something.

I am online nearly every waking hour of the day. I figure I should put my time into something productive.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect modship to be all fun, as with any position of responsibility.

I've been craving for responsibility my whole life.

I do enjoy making a difference, though.
