I have Crystal.

Pokémon Crystal was my first handheld game. I remember it came bundled with a green GameBoy Color.

You can get the battery replaced. It's a lot like replacing the battery of a watch. I should know, my mom repairs clocks, so I figured I was set if my current copy of Silver turned out to be dead. :B

I know how to do it I just am very lazy. My Yellow, Red and Blue still work though, I tested their batteries the other day.

All my original games still work. I think. My Crystal and Gold are good, but sometimes my Silver saved data resets. Not sure about my R/B/Y or R/S/E, haven't played them in a while.

My RSE's batteries are dead too, though it just makes time based events not work.

My Ruby battery is dead.
