the first time you fight it, defeat is your only route.

postgame you have to catch n's legend and then kyurem. then you get the splicers.

huzzah. fusion dance.

You can't catch it when you first encounter it. But I do believe that later on (after the main story), you'll be able to use them. (EDIT: Ninja'd!)

I don't think I will, though...it seems creepy and actually sort of cruel...
