But I've done my research on why it's possible. Besides, Toon Zelda was oriignally going to be in Brawl, with a Toon Sheik transformation, which would mean any unique fighting style of a smash character is going to be copied. Support is one of the only things that raises my self esteem.

You can disagree with people on things and still be friends. It's just a videogame, nothing too serious. .-.

Disagreement leads to bitterness, which leads to war. It's how human nature works after learning our own history at schools and colleges.

A war started over a videogame sounds incredibly silly.

Not really. According to an episode of Hey Arnold!, the British and the Colonists were fighting over a runaway pig.

That was an episode of a children's cartoon intended solely for entertainment, not historical accuracy.

Every form of entertainment has a grain of truth. It's why I learn lessons from movies, documentaries, and television on how I view this planet.

Look, KM is right, OK? I don't see you as a bitter enemy because I disagree with you on one thing. If I saw everybody like that, I would have no friends at all, nobody agrees on everything. You just have to accept people as they are, nobody's perfect and we all disagree on things sometimes, doesn't mean we can't still like each other and be friends :)

They can contain some truth, like the episode of The Boondocks about a guy killing another guy over an Xbox. That doesn't make it any less ridiculous or stupid, that someone would kill another human being over a videogame console.

And see Sunburn doesn't have any hard feelings over you having your own opinion on the matter. ^^

You don't understand. I use to have a friend who is very ill-informed about the movies he's watched and the video games he's played. No matter how many times I try to show him evidence on how he's wrong, he still thinks his statements are correct. For example, he thinks Miyamoto created Nintendo when he didn't, because the company was created before he was born.

    Ignorance is bliss~

You can take comfort in the knowledge that...you have the correct knowledge about those things? xD

Well, if you two can't agree on something, agree to disagree :) you'll never come to a conclusion just by arguing the same points over and over to no avail. Drop the argument and stay friends.

Yep yep, no hard feelings here ^^

What ^ said. There must be other things you enjoy about his company if you remain friends. Focus on those. ^^

Nope, it's not over. He also thinks the Mario characters should use their movie incarnations, because he thinks it's the best movie of all time. He also hates Brawl because he keeps losing in every match and blames the controls for being different than 64 and Melee, even though it's the same control scheme. He wants RPGs, including Pokemon, to die, and he uses the animation age ghetto on animated films. He thinks the Zelda series is for adults only and is an OoT/MM fanboy.

Then ask yourself: "Do I like this person? Do I enjoy his company?" If not, maybe it's best that you both went your separate ways. People change, and friendships end, it's all a part of life. If you don't like each other anymore, it's healthy for both of you that you move on.

Hopefully, he won't go apeshit on you like my former best friend did. :P
