Well tell me, what makes you think Jigglypuff and Lucario got in SSB in the first place? Because of their popularity from the anime.

Lucario was already cool. How do you explain why... I got nothing.

I figured Lucario got in just because he was a popular Gen 4 pokemon...but then I remembered there was that Lucario movie. But I think they pick pokemon based on the games and anime.

Misty, May, Dawn, Lyra, and Iris are the candidates for a possible female trainer, with Leaf as a back up if she's going to be an alternate costume for Red, the male Pokemon Trainer.

About Red, yes he looks like Ash, but ultimately he comes from the games. They did use Ash's voice for him though, which annoys me...

Actually, they used May's VA to voice Red.

I don't care though, I never play as pokemon characters (except Jigglypuff). As long as my MarthyPoo and Luigi are in the new game, I'm happy :D

Marth and Luigi are already confirmed to be in the game from Namco Bandai's SSB drawing to Sakurai.
