It is a bit weird it can't learn Energy Ball. Giga Drain not so much since its no longer a TM. Which is annoying since it finally got a much needed power boost.

It can't be taught the moves via TMs either, huh?

Maybe Giga Drain's power boost was the reason why it was removed as a TM.

Or maybe the other way around. Perhaps someone at GF was like 'Since Giga Drain isn't a TM, let's boost it's power so people will still use it.'.

That sounds like a good theory. XD

I liked that move in Gen 4. :<

I can imagine Bulldoze and Flame Charge getting removed and get a Power Boost for next gen. If such a thing happens, then Flareon finally gets a decent STAB move.

Sludge Bomb should follow suit.

I've thought of new water move that would also be expanded to Ice types: a Freeze equivalent to Scald.
