Mienshao. Ferrothorn is better used for setting up entry hazards and to some degree, stalling, but mine usually gets in 3 moves and it's done for.

But my Ferrothorn is using a Bold nature set by Smogon except with Stealth Rock, and it has helped win a few battles.

Didn't think of that, I usually use a standard set. Essentially, choose a little more offense or defense with your Heart Scale. But personally, I'd still go for the Ferrothorn.

Yet you hate Electivire and Magmortar for being terrible in the metagame despite you hating Ferrothorn despite being a top threat in the metagame, which has encouraged me to take your opinion to a grain of salt.

The only reason I hate Ferrothorn is because it's way too overused. The fact that he fits perfectly on my team makes me hate him even more.

I like Ferrothorn, especially when it's shiny.
@PkmnCrystal; is helping me learn to battle competitively. Apparently doing a pretty good job too, I almost beat him today.

My Ferrothorn also has Bulldoze, which I think most people don't see coming. It's fairly useful, due to the Ground-typing and the speed lowering effect.

Yes, and it needs to be expanded so there's more diversity within a tier.

I would like more diversity in it, yeah, but I don't think there's any reasonable way to go about making people stop spamming the same Pokemon.

People should put some effort into finding ways to incorporate lower tier Pokemon into their teams....
