Anything can be fucking good with surf, you don't have to act like your fucking butt buddies with Smogon all the time.

Surf is a pretty strong move.

Miltank w/ surf will not OHKO a Pokemon who is weak to water with its low SpA, that's an actual fact because GF programed its stat distribution.

I don't care about knocking a Pokemon out; I just want damage done.

Some people aren't as concerned about competitive battling :P

This isn't about competitive battles this time, it's a common fact that some Pokemon have either horrid physical offense or horrid special offense. Even the strategy guides tell you how important stats are.

Stats aren't EVERYTHING in battling though.

Yeah.. In-game I use Pokemon I like. I give them fairly effective movesets, but I don't worry about it too much. I'm not going to do a lot of wild stuff to get a competitive moveset on an in-game Pokemon. I teach my Nidoking Ice Beam for fun, so what? :P

Stats is everything to any RPG in existence, and Nidoking's a poor example since he's capable to use special attacks. Try Rhydon or Kangaskhan. Now those have horrid SpA.
