It was mentioned that JRPGs are becoming less popular in the U.S., which means Pokemon will have lower sales over here.

Its already not as popular as it was. Though maybe B/W2 will be well received.

I mean JRPGs in general, and what about the sales? While JRPGs are well receieved by critics in the U.S., they have lower sales in the U.S. compared the Western RPGs such as Mass Effect.

I dont pay attention to that stuff, I generally dont listen to what critics say or even look at what they write. I like Pokemon so I buy Pokemon games.

You misunderstood, I said the games were praised by critics, but the sales are mediocre because of the popularity of western RPGs, FPS, and retro game franchises from the 80s.

But it may be a threat because that would mean they will no longer ship Final Fantasy and Pokemon to the U.S. and become Japan only because of Call of Duty.

Yeaaah....no. Pokémon has been popular here since day 1 (though I can't speak for Final Fantasy, cuz I know nothing about that).

I have no idea why Hasbro isn't staying true to one of their board games' source material.

I watched the first 2 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh, and then I just stopped :P I don't even remember why. Something must have happened to prevent me from watching it.
