I keep most of mine nowadays, for battling competitively.

....what I mean is that RNGed shinies dont have that "special" quality to them. But I give them credit for being a lot better than hacked shinies.

I used to not care about IVs, but I've gained a habit where I send my pokemon to my computer to check out there IVs in PokeGen...

    Except I don't know what's good and what's bad.

The Hgher IV a stat has the more it raises a stat. The most it can be is 31, which is a perfect IV. Generally, a higher IV is better.

Unless you are like me and use internet programs so you can have ridiculous IVs like 200.

My flawless Moxie Honchkrow is pretty special. Except I didn't want that one to be shiny.

Oh, that makes sense! I guess my Samurott is pretty good then...

I imagine a flawless pokemon would be so terribly boring.

But that is mostly for giggles like having a Shiny Magikarp with an 800 attack stat.

I enjoy hacking a lot though in general but I understand that some people don't like it.

Hacking for the lulz is okay I guess, I have a Huge Power Seaking with Flare Blitz, Waterfall, Earthquake, and Dragon Dance. But using them in battle against someone is just terrible.
