What would that problem be?

My sister texted me at 11:30 saying that she and her roommates found an abandoned kitten in a box somewhere im guessing somewhere near their apartment. She's begging me to ask my mom if we can keep it because they cant just let it be homeless. They brought the kitten back to their apartment where they're keeping it for now. I really hope mom lets us keep the poor thing, because I dont think they can keep it at school. She's coming home for the weekend so Im going to have to have this dicussion soon as Im guessing she wants to bring it home with her.
