Thread: Storyline: Mystery Pokeball

This is just a fanfic, people can make their own story to what happens after this start. Here it is:

Its another day in Hoenn region, in Littleroot town. The sun has just risen and its the day Professor Birch is getting pokemon starters from the breeders. The truck should arrive by mid-day or so.

It was the day after the trainer (a male, insert name) just became champoin and beat elite 4 and has returned home. (Same male from R/S/E games)

Day passes on and its now mid-day. In the horizon the truck appears. Professor happily recieves 3 starters and a zigzagoon. Thankful for receiving the pokemon, he turns around to go back into his lab. The truck leaves. Just as the professor is heading back into his lab, he hears a "clink" wondering what the noise was, he looks around and where the truck once had been, a strange looking pokeball was sitting.

The pokeball looked like a normal pokeball, except of being red on top, it was black with a gold rim round the ball. The first thing the professor does, he, instead of picking it up, he goes into his lab and brings out a national pokedex and attemps to scan the ball. The attemp fails as the national dex when it scans over the pokeball says "Unknown Pokemon" and a blip blip noise happens and the pokedex goes dead.

Not knowing what just happened, the professor picks up the pokeball and puts it in a secure clear chamber till he figures out what to do with it. He phones the company that sent the pokemon, but won't disclose what he has found. He asks the company if they lost an item when they delivered the pokemon. They said no. So, now the professor has a unknown pokeball that could contain anything.

What is to happen:

The main plot is on the pokeball itself, but its not entirely based around it. The story must be based around the pokeball, the new champion and events in hoenn. Characters to include:

May/Professor Birch
Professor Elm
New champion of Hoenn and his family (Need name, can be any male name you want)
All main characters from R/S/E games
And a few other characters you decide.

I will make a story based of what you guys post. The first thing is to get the first chapter done. What I would like is for you guys to post your own chapter 1 idea below this post and I will decide which is the best one and start this story.

Asking other people to write the next part sounds more like a game to me. I'm moving it there for now, the games mod can move it back if they don't agree.
