Especially I dunno.
Especially Gigigear and Gigigigear and Gigigigigigigigigiigigigigigigiigigigigigigigigigiggigigigiigigigigigiiggiigear.
I kinda feel like they rehashed too many old ideas for Pokémon in Gen V. I could name about ten Pokémon off the top of my head that were basically ripoffs from older generations.
In other news, I hurt my leg somehow earlier after gym and had to be wheelchaired back in. Now I can walk without too much pain but a slight limp. Much improvement. :I
They probably did that so they could have similar-but-different 'Mons to fill the same roles...or something, idk.
Either way, I much prefer Gigalith over Golem, Conkeldurr is arguably more effective than Machamp, and Jellicent is mostly better than Tentacruel from what I can tell.
......Swoobat, on the other hand....
I do like them. Some just aren't that original. While others are pretty much the most original of any generation, imo, so I guess it balances out. Despite everything, Gen V was pretty much my favorite generation when it came to the 'mons.
I find the Swoobat line less of an annoyance than the Zubat line, but that's not saying much. At least Crobat was cool. :I
Zubat Line > Swoobat Line.
In my opinion.
I love the Swoobat line because it's based on some of the the cutest things ever:
Also, there is the advantage of not having Zubat's cry.
