And acknowledging the electric rodents own amazing feats, frying a Geodude and all that... I hereby present the random facts about Pikachu thread!

Now, to start it off...

1. There are over 16 million thunderstorms a year. Pikachu is personally responsible for all of them.
2. The reason Pikachu does not use pokeballs is not because he dislikes them, in fact, he finds them quite comforting. However, pokeballs that once contained Pikachu are prone to expand and explode, injuring the trainer. This is how Voltorb were invented.
3. Pikachu could thundershock God.

4. Pikachu could make out with Misty and May at the same time.

5. The big Ontario/Quebec blackout of August 2003 was caused by a stray Thunderbolt from Pikachu overloading a power station.

6. There is enough electricity in the tip of Pikachu's tail to run the Celadon Game Corner for a year.

7.Pikachu is a frequent pokemon appearence in the series, unlike it's evolutions.

8.The Pichu brothers are actually Pikachu's illegitimate children.
9.Pikachu eats three Tauros steaks for breakfest.

10. Ash's Pikachu is really a female, yet most people are lazy and would rather just 'assume it is a male' than look at all the evidence in the anime.

11. Pikachu is the most adorable Pokemon EVER!!!!!! <3 XD (you should've known you'd see this one coming, lol)

12. Pikachu is very strong in the show, but having a Pikachu like that in the games would be nearly impossible, since most of them tend to have very weak Defense and Special Defense stats.

13. Pikachu is your father.

15. Pikachu is the sole consumer of over 1 million Ore Ida fries a year... with ketchup, of course.
