This is a game based off the idea from this page:
Two More Dub Titles...
Basically, you guys give me descriptions of dubbed Pokemon episodes, and I have to tell you the correct title (without looking at an episode guide).
This is how it works.
There are 10 episode descriptions/titles per round. There are 3 rounds in each game. The person with the most points at the end of a round wins that particular round, and the person who has the most points at the end of the game wins the game. If you have the most points at the end of a round, AND you've knocked me down to zero points, then you have a perfect score (that means you get bonus points with 300 points added to your score, you win that round, and depending on how high your score is you might also win the game).
I start off with 200 points, and the key to winning is, you have to get me to zero points by the end of 3 rounds.
However, I earn 10 points for every episode title that I guess correctly. The person who asked that question gets 20 points.
I get 5 chances to get the title right (unless I give up before then).
So if you give me a description, I miss the title 4 times, and I do not know the title on the 5th try, then you have officially "stumped me". This means, I lose 20 points, and the person who asked the question receives 100 points. So the only way you can make me lose points is by me not knowing the name of a title.
Okay, for example, someone gives me this description.
What was the name of the first season episode with the Yaz and Kaz gyms?
I say: "Showdown At Dark City"
I then receive 10 points, and the person who asked that question receives 20 points.
I lose a round if this happens:
If an episode-description-person has more points then I do at the end of a round.
I can lose the game if either of these happen:
1. If I have been "stumped" 3 times or more in the same round.
2. If I have zero points in a round (or by 3 rounds, the end of the game).
3. If someone obtains a perfect score, earning the most points in a particular round AND knocking me to zero points.
Okay, now that I've listed the rules and objective, who wants to play the game?
I need to have a list of who's playing, so I can keep track of everyone's points.
Or, if someone wants to, they could be an official Point Tracker, who adds up everyone's points.
This would make things much easier for me, since I'll be focusing on getting those titles right. ^^
