Meh, just personal bias if I'm going to be totally honest.
I mean, it would just be nice since its one of my favorite pokemon.

I think Beartic would greatly benefit from Waterfall, since dive is such a bad move.
I also am holding out that one day magnezone will have levitate. It makes alot of sense, even if it over powers it a wee bit.
I think Beartic needs Swords Dance and Earthquake, with Swords Dance giving a boost that Beartic with appreciate, and Earthquake for coverage for its other two primary moves, Superpower and Icicle Crash, (Resisted by Volcarona, Victini, Slowbro, Starmie, Slowking, Tentacruel, Qwilfish,) but it could also appreciate Stone Edge, Wild Charge, or even Night Slash.
Happens with a lot of pokemon, I want it to happen for Flareon too,
Beartic does learn Night Slash. But I agree, it does need a better movepool in general.
Jellicent hates Toxic, yet that chooses to use Recover over Rest. Slack Off would be still be extremely useful.Quote:
Snorlax likes rest because it removes status like toxic which chips away at its bulk..
I never said to replace Levitate; Flygon only has one ability, so why can't it have Tinited Lens as its second one?Quote:
And flygon appreciates levitate a lot.
If Flygon got DD and QD (as I already said before) it would hit hard after a boost or two.Quote:
Jolly flygon tbh doesnt hit very hard.Flygon is best used as a scout.
Snorlax is a bulky offensive mon.If it gets burnt(not very difficult thanks to scald),then it becomes useless.
It(flygon) needs 2 boosts to even do something.Anything like powerful priority(like weavile of mamoswine) can just come in on the first boost and ko flygon. With the loss of levitate,it also becomes vulnerable to spikes. So, if it gets phazed out by something as bulky as resttalk gyara,it will be at even less health the next time it comes in.
Beartic's biggest problems are its poor all-around stats and defensive typing IMO. With those issues in mind, I couldn't imagine this Pokemon becoming a viable sweeper in OU, UU, or RU.
More Grass Types need Earth Power. Grass is notorious for having poor coverage as it is, but I think Earth Power could make sense for most of them. It would also help them deal with threats like Fire types, Steel types and Poison types. Specifically, the likes of Venusuar/Meganium/Sceptile/Serperior, Vileplume/Bellossom, Victreebel, Exeggutor, Tropius, Roserade, Tangrowth, Leafeon, Liligant and Simisage are all Pokemon that I think would benefit greatly from the move.
Speaking of Meganium, I know I sound like a broken record by now, but for God's sake GF, why doesn't she have Baton Pass or Wish? Throw in Quiver Dance for a Sp. Def boost and a good Baton Passing move and I think she could at least get out of NU.
Sceptile needs Nasty Plot and Serperior wants Dragon Pulse. Torterra could maybe make use of Dragon Dance. All of these on top of the aforementioned Earth Power.
Also? All the Starters want their freaking Egg and Gen IV moves with their DW abilities already!!!!
Houndoom needs more speed. I suggest taking five points away from one of his already pathetic defenses and giving it to it's speed so that it can reach the all important 100 mark.
Ampharos wants Tail Glow.
Hydreigon needs Nasty Plot.
Ninetales needs less speed and more Sp. Atk, so I suggest inverting those two stats.
Both Serperior and Samurott need Earthquake. Speaking of Samurott, why the hell doesn't he get Shell Smash again?
Emboar needs a complete rearranging of his stats.
Feraligatr needs for Gyarados to disappear.
Swampert wants Recover.
Typhlosion needs a wider Special movepool, maybe Earth Power for him too.
Luxray needs better coverage moves.
Milotic needs a better DW ability. May I suggest Multi-Sale or Regenerator?
Flareon=Flare Blitz. 'Nuff said.
Just to piss off the monkey, I'd give Close Combat, Nasty Plot and Grass Knot to Blaziken.
Whimsicott needs Sleep Powder, even if my friend Jumpluff suffers for it. Hell, we could even it out by giving Jumpluff the Prankster ability.
I want to see Tyranitar with Close Combat.
That's all I can think of for now, I'll probably come up with more stuff later.
I always wonder what it would be like if Pokemon like Slaking, Regigigas and Archeops got DW abilities too, either beneficial or just less crippling than their current ones.
For example, if Slaking got something like Thick Fat (which admittedly wouldn't be te best ability he could get) would he be banned from OU? And if so how would it fare in Ubers? Although Regigigas would would probably just outclass him without Slow Start.
On that subject how would Regigas do with an ability like Pressure? Would he be almost unstoppable if the ability were released? Would he be given his own clause?
If Archeops were given an ability like Early Bird (just thinking of a random Flying ability) would he completely rule sandstorm teams?
(I have more questions than answers because I'm not very experienced)
I've always wondered what would have happened if Stealth Rock had been an ice type move (Stealth Icicles? Idk) instead of a rock one. Would Garchomp, Salamence and friends have been anywhere near as popular as they were? What about Yanmega and other 4x rock weak Pokemon?
Well, Ice types would rule OU. Less things would get it, but then Mamoswine and Weavile, mainly Weavie, would actually decline in usage because their roles would be minimal. Gliscor, dragons would all need to run a ton more speed EVs and Roost. Flygon would be obsolete as it can only come in twice, same with Gliscor most likely. Then Scizor/whatever fear Dragons would be ruling
You specified Toxic as the main problem, not a burn. But yes, a burn could be problematic, but I guess you could run Lum Berry or a cleric if you wanted to. I still think, regardless of whether it would be useful or not, Snorlax should learn Slack Off. It's ridiculously lazy.
A +1 unresisted (Tinted Lens) Outrage or Draco Meteor will hurt. Yes, it may not be as strong as Latios/Mence/Dnite if they were at +1 but no Steel-type could switch into it and resist the hit like they do with the aforementioned dragons.Quote:
It(flygon) needs 2 boosts to even do something.
These points you bring up can be applied to any sweeper that is priority weak and/or vulnerable to entry hazards. You would obviously make sure its counters are removed like any other sweeper. Volcarona springs to mind; you have to remove SR before using it. Mind you, Tinted Lens Flygon with DD or QD would probably be better used late game anyway (if it existed). Or it could be used to sufficiently weaken walls that stop your main sweeper.Quote:

It's just an idea, so there's no need to be so dismissive of something that doesn't even exist.
