Re: Theorymonning: What if this Pokemon had...?
What if Volcarona was a Bug/Dragon instead of a Bug/Fire? What if Swanna had gotten Hurricane as a Sig. move with a 2/3 of a chance of Confusion activating?
Chandelure/Lampent with Thunderbolt makes sense, given it's role as a lamp.
Re: Theorymonning: What if this Pokemon had...?
What if Zekrom had a pre-evolution, but Reshiram and Kyurem didn't?

you mean a swanna with serene grace?

Well, I guess a more accurate way to say things would be Hurricane with a higher confusion rate. Rain Dance + Swift for the sake of better speed. Could Swanna become a more viable threat?

It would just have a pre-evolution....?

No. its power is too low to be effective. It would be devastating with serene grace because of scald + hurricane.

I think that was mentioned before, and with the move's context, it wouldn't make much sense, but if Hydreigon actually had that move, it would be a complete and total monster, probably needing CS Terrakion or CB Conkeldurr to spike in order to handle it. Volcarona is only held back by its SR weakness, rather low Defense, resistable STABs, and in some cases, moveslot syndrome. Hydreigon would have none of those problems.
Plus, I love the take on a Special-based pseudo-Dragon Dancer.
Re: Theorymonning: What if this Pokemon had...?
Which Fire-types would make a good Rapid Spin user? I imagine that because some of the most popular entry hazard users are weak to Fire (Forretress, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, Roserade and Scolipede), it would be great to have. Yes, there's Torkoal, but which other Fire-types?
Perhaps Chandelure might be a good user? It already hits hard, and some of the slower users don't appreciate it around like some of those pesky Steel-types. Being a Ghost means that other Ghosts won't dream of being hit by a strong Shadow Ball, so a spinblocker is riskier. It may be weak to Stealth Rock (Tyranitar and Cradily are some of the good users), so it may not be the best user when they're around.
Thanks for reading.

If Heatran got Rapid Spin, it could be a very interesting scenario, but the issue with Spinners is that they don't need to be able to take down the setters, they need to be able to take down the Spinblockers, so in that sense, Chandelure would be good.

If for some strange reason Snorlax got ExtremeSpeed it would really make for an interesting scenario. Imagine getting in 3 curses and then sweeping whole teams with just ES. Of course ghost types would be a the challenge but they can be taken handled.

I'd say that it may be close to broken if it was able to have both, and confusing in concept.
Re: Theorymonning: What if this Pokemon had...?
Than a cb snorlax would be great. It already eliminates stuff like heatran and lati@s so this would be a great addition. Of course, extremespeed and snorlax are oxymorons.

If Pikachu can learn Iron Tail (soft little plushy mouse) and Dodrio (no wings) can fly, ES Snorlax can be imagined as using his momentum to make a fast plunge against the opponent.

What if Ferrothorn got something like Cotton Guard?

I think it wouldn't make a difference, Defense-Boosting Moves generally aren't used.
