Thread: Gen V Team [Rate Please]

I had this in the main Battle Centre forum, and got no reply. I guess I posted in the wrong one.

Compared to most people, i've only ever played single player, so forgive the possible cluelessness

Servine - Leaf Blade, Giga Drain, Aerial Ace, Return [Bit of a predicament over the Held Item]
Simipour - Surf, Ice Beam, Shadow Claw, Return
Klingklang - Flash Cannon, Shift Gear, Charge/Discharge
Haxorus - Dragon Claw, Outrage, Swords/Dragon Dance
Volcarona - Quiver Dance, Heatwave, Bug Buzz, Overheat. [Lost Quiver Dance because all pkmn fainted when it leveled to 59 :\] (Have to take it to move-relearner, but forgot where they are]
Musharna - Hypnosis, Nightmare, Psychic, Synchronoise

I don't mind changing everything except Servine... nobody touches Servine. However, I sold my Eviolite because I thought it only worked on Eevee... how wrong was I? I'm thinking I need to trade for a Pokemon holding one over N_WFC, but I need a 3ds to connect to a WPA2 network.

Hey I know you don't want to change servine but just a suggestion, would giving it the Miracle Seed (if you have it) be okay?

for Haxorus do you have both swords dance and dragon dance?

Haxorus has both Swords and Dragon dances.

I already use a Miracle seed and whatever the incense was that boosts grass In the event I didn't have one, however its low-ish defenses could really use a boost for the mascot of my team.

uh well I'm more of an all out assault guy but has your servine learned coil or anything, then forgot it? if so you can hit up the move relearner if you've got heart scales dude :)

Your haxorus is focused on physical attacks right? Try and find that berry that heals confusion. I think it's called the Persim Berry. It can only be used once every match but it's really helpful to have dude, especially if you wanna go get BP on the battle subway

I'd maybe put solarbeam on volcarona and add the power herb so the move is instantly charged?

Haxxy's special is miserable, so of course its kinetically focused. I have some experience building Armored Cores in its fifth generation, so translating Kinetic, Thermal and Chemical to Pokemon stats were fairly straightforward as far as devising damage strategy

Power herb I've yet to find, but that sounds like an interesting idea, I originally ditched Solar Beam because of charging, but that sounds fantastic!
I'll try to grab and grow some Persim Berries, cause its really easy to overuse Outrage on Haxorus.

Servine's attacks were mainly edited over the course of the story, a flying type attack on a grass Pokemon sounded OP, so of course I took it. Return was added because I needed an attack was fairly neutral to most types, Giga Drain and Leaf Blade for healing and beastly STAB. Coil will be replaced by eviolite's effect when I find it.

Sounds like you got things pretty much under wraps IMO
